Wisdom Healing Qigong

Supports Healing and Spiritual Progress for a Better Future

Qigong – A 5000+ Year Old Story Told By Master Mingtong Gu

The history of Qigong traces back over five thousand years, to prehistoric shamanism and the later Huan Yuan lineage of integrated Taoist and Buddhist wisdom. But despite its long history, very few people have direct personal experience of Qigong.

One pioneer bringing Qigong to greater public awareness is Grandmaster Pang Ming, a Chinese doctor of Western medicine who has also studied Eastern spiritual and healing traditions. He synthesized esoteric wisdom with medical expertise to create Zhineng (“Wisdom Healing”) Qigong, emphasizing practical wellbeing, yet going deep into the essence of life and human potential.

In 1988, Dr. Pang established the non-profit Zhineng Qigong Training and Recovery Center near Beijing. At first he had only a handful of students, but soon there were thousands.

Ever since my childhood in a small Chinese village, I had severe asthma and scoliosis. At Dr. Pang’s center, I experienced two weeks of non-stop coughing… and then all the symptoms of asthma were released from my body. After about three years of dedicated practice, all my scoliosis symptoms were released too.

On analysis, 95% of Dr. Pang’s students showed measurable improvement in their health. There is now more than 20 years of scientific evidence demonstrating Zhineng Qigong’s healing effects in a wide range of health conditions.

I chose to continue studying under Dr. Pang and become a Qigong Master. For decades now, I’ve taught a unique interpretation of Zhineng Qigong called Wisdom Healing Qigong, that I’ve developed and made accessible for a modern, global audience.

Wisdom Healing Qigong supports us in realizing our full potential, based on a profound understanding of how existence really works. Everything is the expression of a single pure energy. All we must do is continuously come back to this state of oneness, and through this practice we also heal ourselves.

I founded The Chi Center for Wisdom Healing Qigong to provide opportunities for learning and practice with a Qigong Master trained directly by Dr. Pang. It’s a place dedicated to self-healing and self-empowerment, where students, health care professionals, transformational leaders, and teachers come to recharge their energy while learning new skills to add to their practice toolset.

I feel profoundly honored to lead the continuation of Dr. Pang’s vision and the expansion of wisdom, energetic connection, and pure consciousness across the globe. I welcome you to join me in this evolution.

Why Wisdom Healing Qigong Will be More Popular Than Yoga, Tai Chi, Mindfulness, & Many Other Practices

For several decades, the mission of Wisdom Healing Qigong has been to bring the joy, peace, and scientifically proven healing potential of Zhineng Qigong to the Western world. And yet, the problem has been how to engage people’s interest in something they don’t even know exists — and how to help them gain an understanding of what they can achieve through this powerful practice for healing… as well as spiritual awakening.

Many have heard of or engaged in other practices that bear some similarities to Wisdom Healing Qigong, such as Yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness, sound and vibrational healing, and/or meditation. Some may even have practiced other forms of Qigong. But none of that knowledge or experience quite compares to Wisdom Healing Qigong, which is different in multiple important ways. Wisdom Healing (Zhineng) Qigong was developed by Dr. Ming Pang, a Qigong Grandmaster trained in both western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. He synthesized his profound medical knowledge of the old and new healing sciences with the ancient Qigong practice.

The result is an integrative system of self-healing and cultivation that is suited for the modern pragmatic world.

Dr. Pang (Heming Pang) is a renowned Chinese Qigong Grandmaster. He founded the largest Qigong medicine-less hospital in China, which has treated more than 200,000 patients and a documented 95% success rate . WHQ has allowed me to be excited about my life again. All of the joy, lightness, and playfulness disappeared from my life when I was ill and I thought maybe I would never get it back, but WHQ is bringing all of that back to my life. When challenges come up now, I have less fear and avoidance and feel that I have the strength and support from WHQ to face challenges as they come up. I used to spend a lot of time in anxiety, stress, avoidance, guilt, shame and rumination.

WHQ has had help me realise and rediscover that when I am grounded in my body and centred in my heart, I am able to make wiser choices in my life. This gives me greater trust and confidence in my own choices rather than worrying and getting confused and indecisive with anxiety. This gives me a greater sense of freedom and purpose in life.

Can Wisdom Healing Qigong heal my unique health challenge?
In Wisdom Healing Qigong, the focus remains on wholeness and integration. Instead of “treating” specific symptoms or conditions, we focus on wholeness, visualizing complete well being physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually – and allowing the chi to move where it is most needed rather than trying to direct it in a specific pathway. That is why we generally do the same practices for every condition – because we’re focused on wholeness, rather than on conditions.
Are all Qigong systems the same?
Many different schools of Qigong have developed over centuries in China with different teachings and practices.
